An Innovative Approach to Harm Reduction

The City of Greenfield has installed two Harm Reduction Vending Machines(HRVM). Greenfield is one of the first HRVM programs in the state of Wisconsin. Anyone in need of FREE nasal Naloxone, FREE Fentanyl test strips, or other FREE harm reduction supplies can access these items with no questions asked. This is an effort to decrease barriers to accessing harm reduction tools, promote carrying Naloxone and Fentanyl test strips, and decreasing stigma around substance harm reduction efforts. Providing individuals with the tools and education to save a life is vital in this overdose epidemic we continue to face locally and around the country.
